In collaboration with the Choir School of Christchurch Cathedral, Echoing Air presents "Celebrating the Psalms", a free concert exploring Renaissance and Baroque settings of psalm texts. The collaboration features professional vocalists (including Chanticleer alumni), Baroque instrumentalists, and young singers. Rooted in ancient tradition, the Psalms were originally meant to be sung. This program brings them to life through works by Monteverdi, Schütz, Buxtehude, and others, performed on period instruments in collaboration with young singers.
