For one weekend only, explore a collection of beautiful homes in one of Indianapolis's most distinctive neighborhoods.

The Lockerbie Square Home & Garden Tour offers a rare opportunity to stroll the neighborhood's picturesque streets and step inside private residences rarely open to the public. From lovingly restored historic homes to thoughtfully updated and contemporary spaces, each stop tells part of the story of a neighborhood that has evolved over more than 170 years while preserving the character that makes it so special.

Whether you're a history enthusiast, architecture lover, neighborhood admirer, design aficionado, or simply looking for inspiration for your own home, you'll discover the craftsmanship, creativity, and enduring charm that have made Lockerbie Square one of Indianapolis's most treasured neighborhoods.

- A self-guided walking tour — Explore the neighborhood at your own pace, visiting the homes in whatever order you choose.

TOUR DETAILS
When: Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026 – you pick! You don't need to specify which day you want to attend when you buy your ticket, and you can attend either day.

Time: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. each day

Price: Early-bird tickets are $25 or $30 the day of the tour. Children 12 and under are FREE.

Tickets & Check-In: Whether you purchase tickets in advance on Eventbrite or on the day of the tour, stop at any of the three check-in locations to receive your official tour wristband and booklet:
- James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home Visitor Center patio, 528 Lockerbie St.
- Indianapolis Glove Company Factory front door, 430 N. Park Ave.
- Anna Sieboldt Home, 640 E. New York St.

Parking: Free parking will be available at several lots in the neighborhood. Also, parking permit restrictions will be lifted for tour weekend only, so street parking is possible!

Weather: The home tour will go on rain or shine.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home Visitor Center (528 Lockerbie St.), the Red Door Cafe (237 N. East St.), and St. Joseph Brewery (540 N. College Ave.).
