Indianapolis Monthly’s signature dining event, Indulge, returns Wednesday, May 6 from 6:00–9:00 p.m. at Tinker House with a new twist—bringing together a five-course culinary experience and the energy of the Indianapolis 500 racing season for a one-night-only event.

Held during one of the most iconic months in Indianapolis, this year’s Indulge leans into the spirit of the racing season with subtle details woven throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to dress in black-and-white attire, setting the tone for a night that feels both classic and celebratory.

From the moment guests arrive, the experience is designed to feel like a true night out. The evening begins with live music, a red-carpet-style photo moment, and a champagne welcome during a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres.

Adding to the experience, a former Indianapolis 500 race car courtesy of Vintage Indy will be on display, creating a memorable backdrop and photo opportunities for the evening.

Guests will then be escorted to their seats for a five-course dinner, with each course paired with select wines.

The menu includes:

Chilled white asparagus velouté with crème fraîche and black truffle

Spring greens with house ricotta, shaved fennel, and Meyer lemon vinaigrette

Dragon fruit sorbet

Fischer Farms loin steak with potato pavé and sauce Périgourdine

Italian lemon curd tart with mascarpone and candied citrus

Guests can expect a few unexpected touches, including chef-driven surprises and take-home gifts to close out the night, with subtle nods to racing season woven throughout.

“Indulge is about creating a night people will remember,” said Ivy Bayer, publisher of Indianapolis Monthly. “This year, we leaned into the energy of May racing season in Indianapolis and built an upscale culinary experience around it—one that brings together great food, thoughtful details, in a setting that feels unique from start to finish.”

Tickets are limited and this exclusive event is expected to sell out quickly.
