Join us for the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon on May 8, 2027! As one of the nation’s most iconic half marathons, the Mini-Marathon takes participants on a 13.1-mile journey through downtown Indianapolis and around the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Whether you’re chasing a personal record, tackling your first half marathon, or returning to a cherished tradition, you’ll be part of an unforgettable race-day experience alongside thousands of runners, walkers, and wheelers. Experience the best of Indianapolis from start to finish. Beginning on West Washington Street near the JW Marriott, White River State Park, and the Eiteljorg Museum, the course showcases downtown Indianapolis before crossing the White River and traveling through the town of Speedway. Participants then take on a bucket-list moment with a full 2.5-mile lap around the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway track before returning downtown to cross the finish line on West New York Street at Military Park.
