Spend the day with us and take advantage of FREE ADMISSION be inspired to be your best self by focusing on service to one another and our communities. Be uplifted and encouraged by storytelling and music, add your own commitment to “Be the Change” to a growing mural, and reflect on all the big and little things you can do to improve the world around you.
While we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we remember that every day is a great day to do good in your community. Reflect, contribute and explore throughout the day with community partners. Consider donating directly to our Haughville area neighbors through Charity Cares Clothing Closet. Bring new, in-packaged socks or underwear of all kids’ sizes or contribute with a financial donation directly to Charity Cares.
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Activities and donations
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. | Storytime
2 – 4 p.m. | Concert with Keisha Ballinger and the University United Methodist Church Praise Team
Activities will conclude at 4 p.m. Indiana Historical Society exhibits will remain open until 5 p.m.
