Founded to bring Indiana’s finest local foods to the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the Original Farmers’ Market celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of the Midwest while supporting our community. Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., we connect local farmers, bakers, artisans, and producers directly with visitors, offering fresh, in-season foods at their peak. Our market values sustainability, accessibility, and community engagement—providing opportunities for nonprofits, advocacy groups, and educational initiatives to share their mission with thousands of guests. With programs like Fresh Bucks, we make it easier for everyone to access healthy, local foods while supporting the growers who make it all possible.
