Storytelling Drawing Sessions provide artists with the opportunity to engage with the stories of long-term residents of Indianapolis.

During these sessions, community members share their stories while participants listen, reflect, and work on art projects of their choice. These sessions are free to the public, and we welcome artists of all skill levels and mediums to participate.

When: Every Thursday | 1:30-2:30pm
Where: Polklore Micro-Museum | 1533 Lewis St.

4 sessions throughout June and July will feature live music performances in partnership with Forward Motion, an Indianapolis-based ensemble dedicated to commissioning, premiering, and recording newly composed music. After the guest has shared, they will create an ensemble piece inspired by the speaker's stories.
