Discover the sublime in Messiaen’s transcendent L’Ascension. Stefan Jackiw takes on Berg’s moving Violin Concerto, an homage to innocence lost, while Strauss’ Death and Transfiguration provides a powerful exploration of life’s ultimate journey. Music Director Jun Märkl conducts this concert of reflective depth and stirring melodies.
