Beyond Monumental is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization with the first stated goal of educating Indianapolis youth on the benefits of exercise, proper diet and healthy living. It utilizes proceeds from fundraising activities, specifically running events, to deliver programs like Monumental Kids movement (a youth running program in local schools) and Apex Monumental Challenge (a corporate wellness initiative) that promote health and wellness in the Indianapolis community. The main event, the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, is a top-20 marathon in the U.S., nationally recognized for a flat and fast course.

Beyond Monumental will host the 21st Annual Indianapolis Half Marathon, 5k and kids one mile run on Saturday, Oct. 8 and the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, a half marathon, 5k and kids fun run on Saturday, Nov.5.
