Retail space, coffee shop, and “Juicy Lucy” cheeseburger eatery open Downtown in February 2024

While February 2024 was an action-packed month for Downtown events, it was also a period of new investment with the addition of several brick-and-mortar businesses. Circle Centre Mall welcomed a new retail tenant on level two, specializing in men's dress clothes. The long-awaited second location for Command Coffee opened on Monument Circle with specialty drinks and open seating. Finally, Mass & Belle Taphouse is now a destination for the Minneapolis-style “Juicy Lucy” cheeseburger.

Elegance, 49 W Maryland St

Setting up shop just ahead of NBA All-Star 2024, Elegance on level two of Circle Centre Mall offers a carefully curated selection of stylish and sophisticated men's dress shirts, ties, and accessories. Shoppers can stop by to elevate their wardrobe Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Command Coffee, 55 Monument Cir

Known for its handcrafted lattes, cold brews, and breakfast items on the cusp of Historic Meridian Park, Command Coffee’s long-anticipated second location on Monument Circle is now a reality. Now open at the base of Circle Tower, Downtown’s newest coffee shop caters to both in-office and hybrid workers with its quick pick-up area and open study space, 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on weekends, 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Follow Command on Instagram for the latest on seasonal coffee brews.

Mass & Belle Taphouse, 888 Massachusetts Ave

Downtown Indy is now home to its own restaurant specializing in the “Juicy Lucy,” a Minneapolis staple featuring melted cheese inside a hamburger patty. Mass & Belle Taphouse, occupying the former Rooster's Kitchen space, is now open weekly Wednesday through Monday with a grand opening slated for March 14-17. Along with its signature “Juicy Belle” with cheddar cheese, customers can choose from other specialty stuffed patties as well as sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts, and premium sides.
