AES Indiana Coloring Contest to determine who will “flip the switch” for Circle of Lights
Five finalists will win Indiana529 Savings Plans, winner to appear on stage alongside Santa
INDIANAPOLIS - That magical moment is quickly approaching when one lucky child will have the opportunity to “flip the switch” at The Downtown Indy, Inc. Circle of Lights® presented by IBEW 481 on Friday, Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving. Children ages 3 - 12 can enter the AES Indiana Coloring Contest, which runs Nov. 1-17, by decorating the official coloring sheet of a large holiday light bulb.
AES Indiana and Downtown Indy, Inc. invite children from all over Indiana to participate. Five finalists will each receive $529 deposited into an Indiana529 Savings Plan. The one entry that receives the most votes from our panel will be selected to “flip the switch” alongside Santa for Circle of Lights®. In 2024, Circle of Lights® celebrates its 62nd anniversary on Monument Circle starting at 6 p.m. with grand holiday festivities and the “flip of the switch” just after 6:50 p.m.
