Join Indiana Donor Network Foundation Saturday, Oct. 10 (2026) for the sixth annual Walk to Save Lives in downtown Indianapolis.
This year's event will be at a new location -- White River Park Celebration Plaza, located at 801 W. Washington St. in Indianapolis.
Registration and check-in for the 1.5-mile walk begins at 9 a.m. A program honoring organ donors, their legacies and transplant recipients will begin at 9:45 a.m. The walk will start at 10 a.m.
More than 700 walkers are expected this year to help raise awareness about the lifesaving importance of organ donation. Cost for participants is $30 for adults and $15 for children age 2-12.
Walkers can register for the event online; registrations will also be accepted prior to the event’s start.

All proceeds from Walk to Save Lives benefit Indiana Donor Network Foundation. Since 2021, the walk has raised more than $200,000 to provide financial and support services to families of organ donors and transplant recipients.
Walk to Save Lives is presented by Global Transplant Solutions with sponsors Ascension St. Vincent, Solvita, Organ Recovery Systems, AbbVie Tissue Services, Tactive, Freije, LifeNet Health, XViVO, Miromatrix and Russell Homestead LLC. Also at Saturday’s walk, Versiti Blood Center of Indiana will host a blood drive.
