Georgia Street

The three-block corridor of Georgia Street is a highly frequented Downtown asset that links key attractions including the Indiana Convention Center, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and Lucas Oil Stadium. Following a complete redesign in 2010, the throughfare has served as a critical activator and focal point for public programming, large-scale events, and walkability with its pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, boardwalk, and flush streets. Georgia Street was first utilized as a public space for Super Bowl XLVI in 2012 and, more recently, played an integral part in supporting NBA All-Star 2024 with the installation of interactive public art, live DJs and performers, and ice sculptures.
