Join the Ray Bradbury Center and Indy Reads at Kan-Kan Cinema for a special Book to Film Event as we watch It Came From Outer Space and discuss Ray Bradbury’s A Graveyard for Lunatics.
Join Indy Reads and the Ray Bradbury Center as we team up for book-to-film series as part of Festival 451indy.
In typical Ray Bradbury fashion, Indy Reads and RBC are flipping the book-to-film concept on its head, and rolling with a film-to-book program. Read Ray Bradbury’s A Graveyard for Lunatics with us, and join us for a showing of IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE at Kan Kan.
Bradbury scholar, Dr. Phil Nichols, will join us virtually (from the UK) after the film to discuss the film’s influence on Bradbury’s writing and on other groundbreaking Hollywood films.
This event is part of Festival 451indy—a celebration of the humanities— a campaign that will encourage lifelong learning through a variety of public programs, collaborative workshops, performances, and other events throughout Indianapolis.
