SPARK on the Circle, the pedestrian-friendly urban park, is now open!

It’s official! SPARK on the Circle is now open on Monument Circle! The 2026 season features contemporary seating, synthetic turf, and outdoor games, as well as free weekly programming including live music, arts and culture opportunities. SPARK provides positive experiences for the community of visitors, residents, and Downtown workers who enjoy Monument Circle – the civic, social, cultural, and historic heart of our city.

New this year, Hanger Coffee from Coat Check Coffee at the Athenaeum will serve as the food and beverage partner for SPARK on the Circle. Kick back with some of your favorite coffee creations and more at Hanger Coffee, now located on the south end of SPARK. 

SPARK is located on the northwest quadrant and will be open throughout the season daily from 11 a.m. to dusk. The space also operates in tandem with the Original Farmers’ Market, occurring every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the south half of the Circle.
