Downtown Indy’s State of Downtown is a shining night dedicated to defining the past year’s memorable moments, record-breaking developments, and incredible community milestones. It also serves as a time to honor the notable leaders and change makers who helped to bring it all to life. At State of Downtown, Downtown Indy Alliance will recognize how our Downtown district is changing for the better and look forward to what its future will bring.

We invite you to join us for the 2026 State of Downtown on Thursday, October 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Cathedral for an evening focused on Downtown connectivity.

This interconnectedness not only fuels Downtown Indianapolis, but also Downtown Indy Alliance as the district’s premier placemaking organization. As DIA’s main fundraiser, State of Downtown ensures we can continue to foster a clean, safe, and beautiful Downtown for all the people who make the place.
