Run With Shears is a charity 5k walk and run designed to raise funds and awareness for Emergency Medical Service providers who have died in the line of duty. The Indiana EMS Association is determined to place a memorial for those who have given their lives in service to their communities along side the Police and Fire memorials on the grounds of the State Capitol. This relatively flat, paved and well shaded 5k takes participants on a tour of the White River Bridge, behind the Indianapolis Zoo, along the Wilderness Trail, through Military Park, and onto the Canal before returning to the Indiana State Museum Lawn.
