To bring awareness to Child Abuse Prevention Month, Downtown Indy, Inc., Indiana Department of Child Services, and Firefly Children & Family Alliance present a special Shining A Light presentation April 1-7 on Monument Circle. Established in 1983, the honorary month encourages community members to act against child mistreatment and seek professional resources from local organizations such as Indiana DCS and Firefly.
