Join the Indiana Historical Society for a night of basketball history and storytelling, complete with a behind-the-scenes look at two of our newest exhibits: "Chuck Taylor All Star" and "Going Pro: Basketball Origins in Indiana." Treat yourself to a unique look at Indiana’s basketball heritage with IHS Director of Exhibits Curation Daniel Gonzales as he complements your visit to these exhibits with items from the IHS collections and all the stories that didn’t fit in the exhibit. Then, join renowned storyteller David Matlack for Storytelling Art’s basketball hit “Chuck Taylor Converse All Star: The Man Who Made the Shoe.” This presentation provides you with a personal look at Chuck Taylor’s life and legacy through storytelling. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to celebrate what basketball means to Hoosiers!
