About the Show:

A new perspective on this timeless classic and arguably Tennessee William's magnum opus, A Streetcar Named Desire is a gritty classical drama that takes place during a period of change in America. Performed "in the round," this is an extremely intimate black-box production that will pull no punches. This historical tale captures a woman who comes as a stranger to the NOLA neighborhood of Elysian Fields, eventually losing her grip on reality as she fails to get what it is she most desires. . . After this, you will know, for certain, that you can't go around depending on the kindness of strangers...or even family.
