Twenty three-year old Washington D.C. native Avery Gagliano will offer a thoughtfully constructed series of solo pieces to open the concert, including a commissioned work from Curtis Institute of Music classmate Alistair Coleman. She will close out the program with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra performing Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto.
