About the Series:

To recognize the Indianapolis Propylaeum's 100th year at 1410 N. Delaware, we have created a new program series to honor and celebrate the incredible Hoosier heroines whose stories have gone untold. Women have been at the forefront of every great movement, every great stride that Indiana has made. However, we are not told their stories with the fervor that men’s stories are told, if at all. The goal of the Anonymous: Unsung Hoosier Heroines series is to highlight the women who have done great things in Indiana, but because of the eras that they lived they did not receive the credit.

About this Program:

The March 7 Anonymous program will highlight Indiana’s first First Lady, Caroline Scott Harrison. Not only was she the first First Lady to give a public speech, she was instrumental in Indianapolis’s growth and reputation as a world class city. Join subject matter expert, Elaine Sholty, as we learn more about Caroline Scott Harrison and her impact on Indiana.

There will be a cash bar and light refreshments available at the program.

Propylaeum members will receive one free drink.

Join in the celebration of our organization's 100th year at 1410 N. Delaware St. and learn about the incredible women who paved the path for us all today!
