About the Series:

To recognize the Indianapolis Propylaeum's 100th year at 1410 N. Delaware, we have created a new program series to honor and celebrate the incredible Hoosier heroines whose stories have gone untold. Women have been at the forefront of every great movement, every great stride that Indiana has made. However, we are not told their stories with the fervor that men’s stories are told, if at all. The goal of the Anonymous: Unsung Hoosier Heroines series is to highlight the women who have done great things in Indiana, but because of the eras that they lived, they did not receive the credit.

About this Program:

The May 3rd Anonymous program will highlight the untold stories of the Women of Indiana Avenue. Many have heard of the legendary entrepreneur, Madam C J Walker, but how many know the stories of the other women of color who were a driving force at the turn of the century? This presentation will be led by Sampson Levington, owner of Through 2 Eyes. Through 2 Eyes gives you a new way to look at old times, discover who you are, and take a tour through Indiana history. Check out Through 2 Eyes upcoming events here.

Propylaeum members will receive one free drink at this program.

Join in the celebration of our organization's 100th year at 1410 N. Delaware St. and learn about the incredible women who paved the path for us all today!
