Susan Locke Charlesworth (Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma) is an award-winning basket weaver who first began weaving because she wanted to learn a creative skill connected to her heritage. She is self-taught, and has won several awards in the Choctaw National Art Show and at the Eiteljorg Museum’s own Indian Market & Festival.
