Join the Harrison Center on February 4th for an important discussion on the importance of oral history in Black family genealogy in Indiana with historian and author of Black in Indiana, Eunice Trotter. Eunice will discuss her personal story of researching black family history in Indiana and how to collect oral histories in your own family and community. Her prolific career includes numerous reporting and writing accolades. She was the first African American editor at The Indianapolis Star and was inducted into the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame in 2017. This event requires masks.
