In 2022, Indiana Latino Institute hosted the inaugural Shining A Light on Monument Circle. This event, in partnership with the State of Indiana, the City of Indianapolis, and Downtown Indy, and presented by AES, celebrated Latino Hoosiers by projecting a video of Our Light. Nuestra Luz. on the AES building. This video highlighted our Latino community, its contributions, and the many beautiful countries we come from.
This event is more than a celebration, it makes the statement that we value our Latino community. Thank you to our presenting sponsor AES Indiana and all of our ILI partners who support our work.
We look forward to returning to Monument Circle for the third Shining a Light celebration on September 7th, 2024!
