The race's start/finish line is near the Chatterbox, but the course runs the 400 and 500 blocks of Mass Ave, as well as parts of Vermont, New Jersey, Michigan and East streets.

Bicycle racers from across the U.S. compete in IU Health Momentum Indy’s Mass Ave Crit, which features a .64-mile course on city streets with two corners greater than 90 degrees, making it technically difficult and fun to watch. Fans pony up to fences along the course and get so close they get the thrill of watching racers speed by so fast they can feel the breeze.
