The IUPUI Regatta Steering Committee is thrilled to announce the 15th Annual Regatta will take place on September 30th, 2023, at Military Park.

The IUPUI Regatta is a half-mile canoe race on the downtown canal in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. This event, held annually in late September, was established in 2009 in lieu of a homecoming event for the campus. This long-standing campus tradition involves both IUPUI’s campus and the Indianapolis community, benefiting the Stefan S. Davis IUPUI Regatta Scholarship, an annual scholarship awarded to an IUPUI student of high academic integrity and merit.

The IUPUI Regatta event, hosted in Military Park and the downtown canal, adjacent to the IUPUI campus, will be held on the same weekend as IUPUI Family Weekend. In addition to the main canoe race down the canal, IUPUI students, families, and Indianapolis community members can expect:
- Food Trucks
- Carnival Games and Rides
- Dog Costume Contest
- Regatta Royalty Pageant
- Live DJ
- Tabling by IUPUI Student Organizations and Schools

This event would not be possible without the support of the IUPUI community, the Indianapolis community, and our sponsors. The IUPUI Regatta Steering Committee is excited to see all the IUPUI students, families, and Indianapolis community members at our event on September 30th, 2023.
