Join the Ray Bradbury Center at Kan-Kan Cinema for a special showing of Labyrinth, followed by a discussion with local filmmaker, Kelly Kerr.
On September 24th, the Ray Bradbury Center is partnering with Kan-Kan Cinema and Film Producer Kelly Kerr as a part of Festival 451indy for a special showing of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth.
Summary:
Sixteen-year-old Sarah is given thirteen hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother Toby when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King.
After the film, join us for a special talkback with local Film Producer, Kelly Kerr.
Kelly Kerr is a writer, producer, and yogini who lives in Indianapolis and works in Chicago. Her artistic mission is to serve indie writers, musicians, and filmmakers, overseeing the creative process as visions are born into the world of forms. Kelly’s deep affection for the macabre and preternatural love of rock music lead her to produce her first film, the horror thriller Chicago Rot.
This event is part of Festival 451indy—a celebration of the humanities— a campaign that will encourage lifelong learning through a variety of public programs, collaborative workshops, performances, and other events throughout Indianapolis.
