Admission is free to the Indiana Historical Society on MLK Day. January 20 is a day to turn Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream into a reality. At the Indiana Historical Society, you can do exactly that. Follow in Dr. King’s footsteps of service as you design shopping bags for Charity Cares Clothing Closet. Collaborate with others to create a community mural. Travel back in time and experience Dr. King’s world-changing speeches in our theater. Then take a moment to engage with the interactive Wall of Reflection — connect to the past and inspire the future. Even the youngest of guests will be able to learn and reflect through additional activities in the History Lab. Activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
