Rob Millard-Mendez, a maker of sculptural objects, will deliver the 2022-23 Phillip Tennant Visiting Artisan Lecture.

Millard-Mendez is a professor in the art and design department at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. His studio practice often employs high craft but is also process-oriented and rich in conceptual depth. At this event, he will present his current and previous work and discuss his journey as a woodworker/sculptor.

The annual Phillip Tennant Furniture Artisan Lecture is made possible by a gift from James W. and Nancy C. Smith.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in Eskenazi Hall’s Basile Auditorium.
