Lace up your running shoes! One of the oldest and longest running races in Indianapolis returns Saturday, March 18. The 30th Annual 5K Shamrock Run & Walk, hosted by the Indianapolis Athletic Club Foundation and Indianapolis Fire Department Emerald Society, is a unique event that takes runners through historic neighborhoods.
Participants, family members and friends are invited to a free post-race party at the IFD Memorial from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks and a beer truck. All of-age race participants will get a free beer with registration. You can sign up at IndyStPats.com. All proceeds are granted out to youth athletic programs in need.
