On April 19, Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) President Doug Boles and IMS Museum Vice President of Curation and Education Jason Vansickle take to the stage at Indiana Landmarks Center for a conversation on the famous 2.5-mile oval’s impact on Indiana’s early automotive heritage and its continued influence today.
Named president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation in 2013, Doug Boles heads daily operations of the historic Brickyard and all world-class racing events hosted at the track including the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, the GMR Indycar Grand Prix, and the NASCAR/INDYCAR Doubleheader Brickyard Weekend. As curator at the IMS Museum since 2018, Jason Vansickle leads development of exhibits and educational programming, and stewards a collection of over 200 vehicles and 70,000 non-vehicle artifacts related to Indiana’s rich automotive history.
Face coverings over the mouth and nose may be encouraged, but not required while at Indiana Landmarks Center. Directives are subject to change in accordance with local and national health guidelines and will be communicated with attendees before the event.
