Details
Celebrate Black History month with art, baseball and The Power of Children at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
The Art of Protest focuses on the August 2020 creation—and subsequent vandalism—of a piece of public art in Indianapolis by 18 local Black artists in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Baseball Boundary Breakers highlights athletes who faced adversity and discrimination and succeeded at the highest levels of America's pastime. See bravery beyond words through the story of a first-grade girl (Ruby Bridges) in the newly desegregated schools of New Orleans in 1960.
The Art of Protest will remain at the museum through the summer of 2023.
