The Honeywell Arts Academy’s Emerging Performers Series, presented by First Farmers Bank & Trust, is proud to announce its February 2025 concert experience. On Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m., Honeywell alumna Beatrix will take the stage at the Columbia Club’s Crystal Terrace.
This unique and expansive concert experience is open to the public and will feature a 60-minute live performance from Beatrix, a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter from Short Hills, New Jersey. Event tickets are $65 per person, with a limited capacity of 80 guests.
Through her music, Beatrix delves into the disorienting experiences of growing up, love, fear and life’s uncertainties. Her sound is defined by powerful yet delicate vocals, conveying a depth of feeling rarely found in contemporary music. Over the course of two years, she learned guitar, piano and wrote and recorded her first songs, culminating in her debut album, Vertigo. Inspired by 90s alt-rock, indie singer-songwriter lyricists and chamber pop instrumentation, Vertigo is a 13-track exploration of the disorientation of growing up, falling in love and wondering what happens next.
