The IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum is making you an offer you can’t refuse. Come see the newly restored version of the Godfather on the state’s largest movie screen for one night only on September 13 at 7:45 p.m.
Fans will also have a photo opportunity in the IMAX lobby with an authentic Academy Award. On loan from Vincente Minnelli’s daughter, the legendary singer and actress Liza Minnelli, his 1951 Oscar for Best Director will be on display. Special thanks goes to The Great American Songbook Foundation for facilitating the award coming to the theater.
The first 150 filmgoers to arrive will also receive a free cannoli courtesy of Cindy Hawkins and Circle City Sweets. The handmade cannoli are an homage to one of the film’s most iconic lines: “leave the gun, take the cannoli.”
