Lugar Plaza is located at 200 E. Washington St., just off the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and south of the City-County Building. Lugar Plaza is conveniently located across the street from the Julia M. Carson Transit Center. There is ample bike parking and a Pacers Bikeshare Station in Lugar Plaza. Paid public parking is available on nearby streets and parking lots.

Join the Indianapolis Cultural Trail for a FREE monthly celebration of Latin culture with live music, dancing, and food at Viernes Cultural: Latin Night at Lugar Plaza. Enjoy the sounds of Son de Esquina, one of Indy’s hottest Latin bands, and learn new dance moves from the talented instructors of Latin Expressions Dance Company. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or have two left feet, Latin Night at Lugar Plaza will have you strutting your stuff in no time! This event is completely FREE and open to all ages, but we do ask that you register so we can plan accordingly. So bring your friends, family, and your dancing shoes for an unforgettable night of music, dance, and community. ¡Hasta pronto!
Food and beverage, including from Samanos Mexican Food & Taqueria, will be available to hungry dancers on site to purchase throughout the evening.

Disfrute de los sonidos de Son de Esquina, una de las bandas latinas más populares de Indy, y aprenda nuevos movimientos de baile de los talentosos instructores de Latin Expressions Dance Company. No importa que sea un bailarín experimentado o tenga dos pies izquierdos, ¡La Noche Latina en Lugar Plaza lo hará pavonearse en poco tiempo! Este evento es completamente GRATUITO y está abierto a todas las edades, pero le pedimos que se registre para que podamos planificar en consecuencia. Así que traiga a sus amigos, familiares y sus zapatos de baile para una noche inolvidable de música, baile y comunidad. ¡Hasta pronto!
7:00-7:30 p. m.: Lección de conceptos básicos de bachata con Latin Expressions Dance Company, patrocinado por Fifth Third Bank
7:30 - 9:30 PM: Música en vivo de salsa, cumbia y bachcata del popular Son de Esquina
Alimentos y bebidas, incluso de Samanos Mexican Food & Taqueria, estarán disponibles para que los bailarines hambrientos en el lugar puedan comprar durante la noche.
