Currently, Downtown Indy plants and maintains many planters, gateways and gardens, including Presidential Place. Come see the American Elm Tree in the center of the garden, a gift from President George Bush, planted in the plaza on April 3, 1990. The elm was dug from the Rose Garden and flown here to be the centerpiece of this pocket park.
