Lugar Plaza
Set in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis, Lugar Plaza is a two-acre city park dedicated to providing space for residents and welcoming visitors who pass through. Named after former Senator and Indianapolis Mayor Richard G. Lugar, the plaza sits comfortably along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail in the Market East Cultural District, making its location open and accessible.
Operating as a city park, Lugar Plaza is open daily from dusk to dawn and exists to excite, invite, and advance the holistic approach of community engagement while acting as a gateway to the City-County building.
