KVML hosts their annual Banned Books Week from October 1st - 7th! This year, our advocate in residence is Chad Heck. Chad is a librarian at Pike High School and has been highly involved in advocating for librarians and against censorship.
Join KVML and Chad for a week-long of programs and events dedicated to exploring censorship and educating on the importance of free speech. Our lineup of programs and events encompasses censorship’s impact on topics like literacy rates, the writing community, the LGBTQ+ community, and more.
