1. Grab a Gift

Still looking to grab a gift for your loved one? Stop by one of Downtown’s locally owned shops to pick up flowers at JP Parker Flowers, jewelry at Windsor Jewelry Company, chocolate strawberries at Newfangled Confections, and more at Silver in the City and Downtown Comics!

2. Share a Meal

With diverse dining options ranging in price, cuisine, and location, some may call Downtown Indy’s food scene underrated. Whether you want to celebrate with a fancy steak dinner or casual cheeseburger, Downtown has it all!

  • $: Valentine’s Day dinner doesn't have to put a dent in your wallet in order to be memorable. If you’re looking for a cute, Instagram-worthy dinner, check out Baby’s where you can get a burger, fried chicken, or mac and cheese. Bru Burger Bar also has amazing burgers and is conveniently located on Mass Ave. And if you want to make the dinner a little extra special, order the Bru Board filled with cheeses, meats, and homemade jam. If you want something casual, but still eclectic, you can’t go wrong ordering one of the 25+ signature pizzas at Bazbeaux Pizza. Tin Roof is also hosting a Galentine’s Brunch w/Indy Annies on February 13 for those who want something even more fun and unique.

  • $$: With a promise to serve the finest in Italian cuisine and wine, Iozzo’s Garden of Italy has to be at the top of your list. If you want to explore the flavors of Latin America, Livery serves empanadas, ensaladas and specialty cocktails. If you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day a few days early, join the Rathskeller at the Athenaeum on February 12th for its Annual Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance. If you’re celebrating both Valentine’s Day and the Super Bowl, go to Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery for their Game Day Love Brunch.
  • $$$: While Downtown has great, cost-effective restaurants, it also specializes in upscale restaurants. For decadent Asian-inspired cuisine, Modita locally sources all its ingredients to serve a unique spin on Asian dishes. Vida embodies a modern expression of culinary techniques with a worldly influence, set in a relaxed ambience. Set atop the One America building, dine at Skyline Club for its Valentines Dinner 14. Support Downtown’s only locally owned and operated steakhouse at Prime 47 with a Prime or Wagyu steak and glass of award-winning wine. 3. Make a Toast

If you’re celebrating and are of age, grabbing a drink with a loved one after dinner or a show is one of the best ways to wind down the night. Downtown has several places to sit down, stay warm, and have a nice glass of your favorite drink. To sip the best wine, stop by Easley Winery or Tastings–A Wine Experience. For the best beer in town, put Taxman CityWay and Sun King Brewing Co. on your list. Lastly, head up to the second floor above St. Elmo’s for specialty cocktails at the speakeasy style lounge, 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo or to Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery for its special Valentine’s Pop-Up Bar.
